Recently, Dr. Muhammad Adeel has been appointed as the Chief Guest Editor in two top journals,  Environmental Pollution and  NanoImpact .

Dr. Muhammad Adeel joined BNU-HKUST (Beijing Normal University- Hong Kong University of Science and Technology) Laboratory of Green Innovation at BNU Zhuhai in September 2021 as the Distinguished Associate Professor. So far, he has published four research papers as the first author in top-level  journal of his field.

Environmental Pollution is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes high quality research papers and review articles about all aspects of environmental pollution and its effects on ecosystems and human health. The impact factor of this journal is 8.071, ranking it 23 out of 274 in environmental sciences.

NanoImpact is a multidisciplinary journal that focuses on nanosafety research and areas related to the impacts of nanoscale processes and materials (manufactured and incidental nanomaterials, including ultrafine particles and nanoplastics) on human and environmental systems. The impact factor of this journal is 5.316, ranking it 61 out of 274 in environmental sciences.

Dr. Muhammad Adeel’s involvement in such high-level journals will help enhance the international exchanges of BNU Zhuhai in environment field. Additionally, this appointment will introduce BNU Zhuhai to other international high level research institutes.
