President of Thailand's NIDA Led a Delegation to BNU Zhuhai

On the afternoon of September 10, a delegation from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) of Thailand, led by President Tippawan Lorsuwannarat and Vice President Sombat Kusumavalee, visited Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai (BNU Zhuhai). They were received by representatives from the Bay Area International Business School (BIBS), Belt and Road School (BRS), and the International Office (IO) of the BNU Zhuhai at the International Center.

Guo Kanjun, Director of IO, warmly welcomed President Tippawan and her delegation and presided over the meeting. Kong Ying, Dean of BIBS, and Zhang Kunling, Party Secretary of BRS, introduced the development vision, program offerings, and international exchange activities of their respective schools.

President Tippawan expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception and provided an overview of NIDA's educational philosophy, training levels, and the basic situation of the College of Social Development and Management and the College of Business Administration. Both sides noted that there is potential for expanding cooperation in research areas such as sustainable development and the Southeast Asian economy, promoting faculty and student exchanges, supporting the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative, and contributing to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Established in 1966, the NIDA is a public higher education institution in Thailand. It is the only university in Thailand that offers only master’s and doctoral programs, ranking among the top three in the country in terms of overall strength. To date, the university has trained numerous prime ministers, deputy prime ministers, speakers of the National Assembly, ministers, governors, generals, and business leaders.
